The IEPguard process is designed to be a simple and seamless process for parents/guardians.

Await Analysis

Once you place your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail detailing the next step and how to complete the short profile surveys

The profile surveys and background questionnaires are designed to help us best understand the needs of your child during our analysis.

You will be directed to a secure drop box or link for sharing your child's IEP draft. Please note that confidentiality rights vary by state/school district and we would need to be permitted to access information via school. However parents can direcetly provide us with pdf copies.

After approximately 24 - 72 hours, your child's IEP will be returned to you with detailed annotations, notes and a summary of questions and concerns to raise at your child's IEP meeting.

Form Letters

We also provide short form letters/emails that you may use to communicate with your child's case manager. Communication is important and it can be beneficial for your child's school to be aware that you are working with an advocacy firm so as to ensure that the IEP process is being conducted in a thorough and fair manner.

All Year Consultation

Your membership enables you access to our agents for the entire 2026-27 school year either by email, online chat or phone for any consultation regarding your child's needs. You will be assigned an IEPguard agent who will become familiar with your child's background and needs. In some instances, we are available to attend meetings virtually or via phone.

Meeting Action Plans (MAP)

After completing the IEP Analysis and summary of notes, IEPguard provides each parent with a comprehensive MAP (Meeting Action Plan) with detailed notes, questions and suggested action plans to pursue on behalf of your child.
